OwtSourced Ltd is committed to protecting your personal data. Under UK GDPR, you have a number of rights regarding how we collect, use, and store your information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.

Right of Access
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you (also known as a Subject Access Request or SAR).
Right to Rectification
Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to Restrict Processing
Ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved.
Right to Data Portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g. JSON or CSV) to transfer to another service.
Right to Object
Object to us processing your data based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw any previously given consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
File a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have misused your data.
How to Submit a Request
To exercise any of the rights above, you can:
- Email us at privacy@owtsourced.co.uk with the subject line "Data Rights Request — [Your Right]" (e.g. "Data Rights Request — Erasure")
- Include your full name, registered email address, and a clear description of your request.
- We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Response Times
We will respond to all data rights requests within 30 calendar days. Where a request is complex or we have received a high volume of requests, we may extend this by a further two months, in which case we will notify you within the initial 30-day window.
Exemptions
Some rights are subject to exemptions. For example, we may retain certain data even after an erasure request if we are required to do so by law (such as financial records required under HMRC rules for 7 years), or if the data is necessary to defend a legal claim.
